reLeaf: The Plant-Powered Everything Salve

Originally I created this recipe to help a friend who had been in a car wreck and had extensive bruising. I worked with another friend, who is an experienced herbalist, to design the recipe. I used the most potent plants available to me - some we grow here at our home, others I purchased, and some are in the form of essential oils.

It turns out, these same plants that help with bruising also help with pain, inflammation, and even skin troubles!

My husband hurt his knee, had pain in his foot, or any other manner of work related mini-injuries. ReLeaf!

The kids get bumps or bruises? They can apply it themselves, we just keep it by the bathroom sink.

The skin on my hands had trouble spots that just wouldn’t heal, with the constant hand-washing and dishes I do. The pain and itching made me crazy! Simply moisturizing it didn’t help. I finally tried this- instant relief, and it actually started to heal up!

So when I say this is my favorite thing, let me tell you- we’ve put it to good use around here!
